My wife got the phone number for the regional supervisor for Direct Sat (the subcontractor) from Direct TV customer service and called them this morning. She sat on hold for 45 minutes until she spoke with someone. They told her she had the phone number for the wrong company...Can this get any worse?
Finally she got some satisfaction from a customer service supervisor at Direct TV who guaranteed that Direct Sat will be out tomorrow morning between 8am and 10am for the installation with the "right brackets" and that "Josh" will not be doing the install. She "demanded" a discount or a free month and they refused.
I will believe it when I see it. Still crossing my fingers. I should have been fasting but I just ate half a dozen Oreos with my four year old.
My buddy said he would come over Friday morning and assist me with the install if all goes south.
Bottom line: Not happy so far. My wife deserves a vacation in Hawaii. My buddy deserves some pizza and root beer.
