Mike Smith. That dude was AWESOME. He could do it all--dribble, pass, shoot from anywhere on the floor (he had the smoothest jumpshoot) and rebound. He averaged something like 26 ppg his sr year. I remember when they played New Mexico in '89, BYU went on an 18-0 run, and Smith scored
all 18 points. That dude was so athletic that he turned down schollie offers to play QB and volleyball at other schools so that he could come to BYU to play bball (he was a star athlete in all three sports in high school). Could you imagine a 6'10" QB? I could go on and on and on, but I'll stop. If only BYU could get another guy like him in the future.
