Ouch!

Bad night for Trent. He let a 6'9" guy eat him alive. He was out rebounded by that chump and let him shoot 100, yes, 100% from the floor!

(I realize we played a lot of zone, but come on, that was Trents guy.)

It was but one game, but PLaisted was totally schooled by Nelson of BSU tonight. During the final 10 mins PLaisted hesitated too often when he should have gone strong. He had position, but he was tentative all night because his shot wasn't going down. He is a liability at the free throw line as well. He shot 50% from the stripe and though I don't want to single him out for tonight's loss, since it is a team effort, had he made his shots, they would have backed off on him down in the post and he would have had more freedom to get the shot he wants.

This was by far BYU's worst game of the season and Plaisted's worst performance. His defense was decent tonight, but the bounces went BSU's way with some of those tip ins down the stretch.

I think it is safe to say there may be some distractions in Trent's life at the current time. I think he will get his groove back on shortly.

I didn't see what happened tonight with the game.I had too work. Fine Trent might not be NBA ready right now?! But let's stop criticizing the leading scorer in the conference and the front runner right now for the Mountain West Conference player of the year. He's made huge strides. He can use his right hand now. He's only gotten better! And I can tell you that if he stays for his senior year. It's going to make him even better for his senior year.
Last year everyone was saying that Trent couldn't use his right hand. That he had he wasn't going to get any better. Trent has proven a lot of you wrong. I do agree that Trent needs to develop an outside shot, and improve his free throw shooting and get a little tougher. But I would rather have Trent then Garner Meads, Dawes, or any other big man that the cougs have had that hasn't lived up to the expectations!
