Look at the easy road to the final 4! After UCLA, we're in! We only have to win 2 games and then it's a cake walk. Southen California fans need to pack the house!
The Cougs won't even get out of the first round. It'll be another one-and-done first round appearance. You're California dreaming pal if you think the Cougs can get past the Bruins.
It'd be great, but everyone, and I mean everyone (including trent) would have to be hitting from behind the arc, and I doubt a Ben Houland coached team would allow that . . .
That is where you are wrong. In order to win these big games, you need to have a solid inside game. This is because teams can be hot or cold from beyond the arc. So you need to have those high-percentage shots from in the paint. Look at all the big names, they always have a solid inside game to win. Shots from beyond the arc are meant to compliment the inside game, but must not be depended on.
I agree with you, but which game this year has BYU won by having a big inside game? BYU just doesn't play that way, they don't have a power forward and their center is soft, and only 2 of their guards ever drive (mostly just ferdette, but occasionally Burgess will make a sweet move to the basket, and I'll think, yeah keep doing that, and then I won't see it again for 2 weeks).
