Well, BYU has dominated offensively (228 yards to 157 yards). If David Tafuna makes the pick instead of tipping it to a UW receiver, BYU probably leads 14-7 at half.
Both teams have to be encouraged. Washington rebounded after BYU scored on its first drive. The Cougars go into halftime on the road tied at 14.
What's up with Austin Collie? He does get the touchdown but I counted four drops in the first half. I like what Unga's doing on the ground. That may be important later in the game. I don't like BYU throwing down the middle late in the half to Pitta. Well, maybe it's not such a bad idea but Hall's throw was terrible. It was like he was leading the defender, not Pitta.
Hey, the Victory formation to end the half. Maybe Robert Anae has learned something.
BYU's defensive backs looked vulnerable. Brandon Howard needs to learn that when you can't make a play on a ball on a deep pass, grab the receiver, do anything to prevent the touchdown. Give up 15 yards instead of six points.
I look forward to an interesting second half.
