Cougar defense faces tough task in option attack |

BYU's defense will find out just how good they really can be this weekend. Or, they could find out what they need to improve on.
So far, the defense has been able to stifle, confuse and hold down opposing offenses. Currently, they stand at No. 12 in the nation in overall defense at 265 yards per game. The defense has kept BYU in every game this season while the offense has been trying to figure things out.
In comes Air Force, holding the distinction of the No. 1 rushing offense in the nation. They bring with them a unique option offense, one you likely face only once a year. So, just how effective will the BYU defense be against the option?
The linebackers and defensive line of BYU will have their hands full Saturday. Fortunately, the Cougars have some experienced men up front that have faced this defense before. Though they struggled some last week |
