Arizona (3-5, 1-4)
Next Game: Nov. 4 vs. Washington St., TBA
The Word: Down to its third-string quarterback, Arizona managed only 183 yards of total offense in a 17-10 loss to Oregon State. ... Kris Heavner got the Wildcats in position to tie late in the game but an interception ended that threat.
Tulsa (5-1, 2-0)
Next Game: Friday vs. UTEP, 6 p.m. MT (ESPN2)
The Word: The Hurricane scored 21 points on its first three possessions in a 35-14 victory at Memphis. ... Courtney Tennial rushed for three touchdowns for Tulsa.

The Word: DeJuan Tribble's 36-yard interception return for a touchdown capped a 21-point second quarter Saturday and the Eagles won at Florida State, 24-19. ... The outcome was largely settled in the final minute of the first half when BC scored two touchdowns just 31 seconds apart to take a 21-10 lead.

The Word: Garrett Palmer’s 30-yard field goal with two seconds left helped lift San Diego State to a 19-12 upset of Air Force. ... The Aztecs also scored a touchdown as time expired when Air Force tried to lateral the kickoff and fumbled. Marc Hill recovered for the score.
UNLV (1-6, 0-3)

The Word: UNLV gave up 574 yards in Saturday’s 52-7 loss at BYU. ... UNLV has only beaten Utah once in 11 games and the Utes have won 10 straight since that first Rebel win in 1979.
